Join us as we embark on a dynamic exploration of the truth that resides in our own body. Through movement, dance and mindful inquiry, we will journey below the stories about who we are and who we should be.
Guided by a weave of the Open Floor movement practice and Somatic Experiencing® principles, we will strengthen our skills to listen, track and follow our innate emotional intelligence, discovering how it speaks to us through sensation, textures and tones. From our practice on the dance floor, you will develop greater trust in your body's natural intelligence that will enable you to live with more awareness, vitality and joy.
Somatic Experiencing® (SE) is the ground-breaking work of Peter Levine. By working with some of the SE principles in this workshop, we will be able to embody, on and off the dance floor, some of the many benefits of this powerful practice:
- Reset the nervous system.
- Restore inner balance.
- Enhance resilience to stress.
- Increase vitality, equanimity and capacity to actively engage in life.
All levels of experience welcome.
This workshop counts as 13 hours of prerequisites and electives for the Open Floor Teacher Training.

If you cancel 14-29 days before the event, you will receive a refund, less a $50 fee.
No refunds can be issued less than 14 days from the start of a workshop.
