Inquiry in Motion
Open Floor Movement Practice
6-Week Class Series
Thursdays, 6:30 - 8:30 pm
May 18 - June 29
(no class June 22 - that's the Summer Solstice Movement Ritual)
in Asheville, NC
Inquiry - a seeking or request for the truth.
Join us as we embark on a dynamic moving exploration of the truth that resides in our own body. Through the Open Floor movement/dance practice and mindful inquiry, we will journey below the stories about who we are and who we should be. Together we will strengthen our skills to listen, track and follow the innate wisdom of our own body, discovering how it speaks to us through movement.
From our practice on the dance floor, you will develop greater trust in your body's natural intelligence that will enable you to live with more awareness, vitality and joy.
Each week we will explore a different theme, which we will be able to integrate into our everyday lives.
Stacey also integrates her knowledge of Somatic Experiencing into her teaching.
Advantages of dancing with a committed group:
All levels of experience welcome. Open to all ages 18 and up.
It is preferable that you attend the entire series, but I know that life gets in the way sometimes, so if you know you need to miss a few dates, that is fine.

"Stacey's open floor class series helped me move my emotions in playful and meaningful ways, in community. I felt free to express fully through movement, and invited into meaningful connections with others in the community. I learned about myself in a way that felt playful, joyful, and profound. I highly recommend her open floor class series as a way to deepen connection with yourself and your community."
